Bear & Ragged StaffGood22 Nov 2013 Seem to remember being disappointed with this beer the first time I tried it. This was quite pleasant, nutty sweet and malty.

The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon, Denbighshire

Bear & Ragged StaffGood04 Feb 2013 Disappointed, at 5.5% I expected so much more. A very dark beer and more a cross between a medium bitter and a porter. Didn't do it for me.

ChrisENot Tried09 May 2011 I did not try this. Several of our group tried it and all but one of them said it was very good. The other person thought it slightly sour.
