Martin the MildmanExcellent31 Oct 2012 Black in colour but hoppy with citrus notes set against dark malts. Smooth mouthfeel with a fruity finish. My score 16/20.

Stephen HarrisExceptional25 Oct 2012 Great to catch up with the dark version of this beer. It is a luscious black IPA, darkened (I assume with malt extract) to give a really complex, mellow and lovely pint.

RayAcceptable13 Oct 2012 Less defined than previously. Hops not so clear, roasty grains less apparent.
RayExcellent08 Oct 2012 Rock solid black IPA. Smooth roasty/grainy malt base with just enough hopping to cut through.
