davidg83		21 Oct 2011	What a beer. So unusual but very moreish. Earthy ginger throughout + spicy on the palate yet remains very drinkable. Ignored the other beers + had a second pint of this.

Dubbel		02 Oct 2009	Even those who professed to love the old recipe are totally enamoured with this revision. Simply outstanding.
Dubbel		25 Sep 2009	Revised recipe. Now much lighter in colour and body and all the more drinkable for it. Sweeter palate, like liquid gingerbread but sessionable with it. Extreme ginger afterburn has been tamed too. Now a beer you can happily stay on all night.
Dubbel		07 Aug 2009	Still the most brutal ginger beer I've had the pleasure to tackle. Jnr quipped "Imagine if all Ginger Beer [soft drinks] tasted like this". Indeed.
Ian		06 Jun 2009	Had this twice so it must have been good. Maybe not as intense as at the Newcastle Arms when I had it, but the earthy ginger is just so intense just great stem ginger flavour over a good pale ale base.
Dubbel		04 Dec 2008	Dispensed with a slight haze but flavour was unaffected. Knockout ginger ale, probably the best example of its kind.

Ian		21 Jul 2006	Slightly hazy gold colour with no head. Strong ginger biscuit aroma. Very herby ginger in mouoth, some juicy malt, but finish had harsh spicey stem ginger flavour. Not balanced, but the intensity of the ginger is interesting
