Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

WhoScoreWhenNotes
IanGood29 Jun 2007 Copper colour with lasting beige head. Creamy head. Citrus, hoppy aroma, little bit more intense than most English beers. Standard bitter in mouth, some malts, then an intense tight acidic grapefruit finish. Acids are puckering and drying. The brewer really has thrown a whole load of hops at this. Startling. Needs more balance with malt structure. Hops are intense but too tight and a tad metallic. Good enough for a second pint though.
