IanExcellent23 Nov 2006 Badged as BSA (Butcher's Special/Supreme Ale). Very deep chestnut colour, some white head. It's got a kind of sourness, some blackberry fruit. Dark fruit aroma, rich malt, but agile too in mouth. Then the finish is like a porter or stout. Really rather stunning and almost un-pigeon-hole-able.

Rare Breeds Beer Festival 2006, Woodchurch, Kent

IanAcceptable03 Jun 2006 Very deep chestnut, thin disappearing off white head. Richish malt and hop aroma. Smooth and malty in mouth, bit of sourness. OK, bit dull.
AndrewAcceptable02 Jun 2006 Sweet vine tomatoe smell. Lots of burnt sugar and a blunt bitterness with some underlying sour flavours
