Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

AndrewAcceptable19 Jul 2007 Pale brown. Bit yeasty. Perl like hops. Bit too sharp and unsubtle

IanAcceptable30 Jun 2007 Copper colour with lasting beige head. Citrusy bitter. Slightly creamy in mouth. Hop on finish is reasonably harsh. I like the York beers, but this is only slightly better than ordinary. Earthy strongish hop lifts it.
