IanExcellent21 Mar 2007 Very deep brown colour with lasting beige head. Quite a liquoricy beer. Really well kept. Full, rounded in mouth with toasty, roasty almost burnt malt. Some coffee. Interesting liquorice/coffee aroma. Great mouthfell. Slightly grainy on finish, bit of roasted dryness. Excellent porter style beer.
