Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

The Long Pond, Eltham, Greater London

Philip PirripAcceptable16 Jan 2024 OK but felt tired with soon no head
Philip PirripAcceptable21 Sep 2023 Disappointing with poor head and lacing and a haze I was not pre-warned of. I had not realised Musket had gone all vegan friendly and so a propensity for haziness so now on my list of those to avoid. However the pub Guv was pushing this beer down and his had a good head and lacing. Ho hum
Philip PirripNot Tried05 Sep 2022
Magnus GreelGood20 Sep 2021 Almost a BBQ bourbon sweetness with a smoky twist.
Magnus GreelExcellent28 Jun 2021 Slight sweetness lead to a bitter yet smoky hoppy finish for this complex ale, I treated myself to another before departure
Philip PirripExcellent26 Jun 2021 Tasted above its strength
