Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

AndrewPoor04 Aug 2009 Do what gov'nor!?! I'm sure this has some redeeming features but I'm blowed if I can find them. Fizzy, appley, very tart. If this is an archetypal Lambic then my old home town of Ashford in Kent had loads of pubs selling this in the 1980's.

IanExcellent05 Aug 2006 I think that this is my favourite lambic producer and this beer only went on to cement its position. Copper colour with no head. Lovely balanced sour aroma. Soft, slightly sweet even for a lambic. Lovely and drinkable. Superb. Little bit of treacle. Sour, but balanced. Some nice fruit even.
