IanExcellent20 Aug 2008 Yep, still a fantastic summer hoppy golden beer.
IanExceptional31 Jul 2008 Is this my favourite beer brewed in Kent at the moment? Yes, I think it probably is. Light, golden, hoppy, sherberty, stinging, drinkable, great condition, full in the mouth and full of flavour. The hops are stunning. Fresh, sherberty, grapefruity but still balanced with the rest of the beer.

IanGood28 May 2009 One of my favourites. Not quite as good as last year at The Chambers up the hill, but good biting citrus hops on end that dry and attack the gums on the end in a very pleasant manner.

IanExcellent20 Aug 2005 Was extremely surprised by this and to start with not sure what score to give it. Golden beer with wonderful peach and hop flavour. Slightly cardboardy and slightly thin in the mouth otherwise it would have been a 5/5. More peach/apricot flavour on the end. Starts well and finishes well but just lacks something in the midddle

Westerham Summer Perle

3.80% ABV.

Summer Perle was originally brewed in 2004 to commemorate the 30th (Pearl!) Anniversary of the Canterbury Beer Festival, Kent's biggest real ale festival. It was a huge success. It was the fastest selling beer at the Maidstone Beer Festival and was delivered to several other beer festivals by special request. It has now been added to the range as our 2005 summer seasonal. This golden ale is dry hopped with Hallertauer Perle hops which impart a spicy and refreshing finish to this summer ale.

We have tried this beer 43 times.

We have given this beer an average score of Good to Excellent.

Other Westerham beers.
