IanAcceptable06 Sep 2005 Black with dark beige head. Tarry aroma with some chocolate and coffee. OK in mouth, with tarry/coffee/chocolate and grainy finish. Got better as the pint went down

Beartown (latterly part of Manning Brewers) Polar Eclipse

4.80% ABV.

A rich creamy smooth dark oatmeal stout with light hoppy notes and a dry bitter finish that we think would give the dark Irish stouts something to think about..

We have tried this beer 5 times.

We have given this beer an average score of Good to Excellent.
