Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

WhoScoreWhenNotes
IanAcceptable20 Jun 2008 It always worries me when I see an American themed name, because it normally means some US hops have been waved vaguely in the direction of the beer. Plus, if it does have the hops, the 4% means it is unlikely to hve the malt base to support it. The latter is the case with this one. Bit of a hazy gold. Very green hop. Lots of yellow grapefruity aroma and flavour, almost peppery hop. Bit plasticky. Good hop. Poor everything else.
