Ian		17 Dec 2008	No idea what this is now. Lighter in colour than when I had it first. At a guess I'd say it's a mix of Skrimshander and Golden Braid. An email to Tonie Prins I feel, to clarify. No smoke at all. Still, a suppable best bitter, bit sweetish, bit hoppy.
Brian		11 Dec 2008	Bit lively and the barman brought it over to me once it had settled. It wasn't bad but didn't have the smokey bacon bbq flavour of previous tries.

Andrew		24 Aug 2008	Ruby coloured beer. Rich malty beer with raspberries and a smoky body. The hop profile is somewhat understated which perhaps leaves the finish a little weak.
Ian		24 Aug 2008	Russet colour with thin beige head. Really lovely roasty malt, and a bit of smoke on aroma. Slight sourness on end. Some deep berry fruit. Some drying hop at end. I really like it. The only beer today that made me really sit up and take notice.
Brian		15 Aug 2008	The barman told me it's brewed by Hopdaemon but is not one of their regular brews renamed. It's great, ruby colour with beige head. Dark smoky malts with a hint of bacon and that wood they put on barbecues - you know the one. Full mouth feel, soft with lingering aftertaste. Really good.
