Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanGood25 Nov 2008 Definitely got some US style hops on it. Really good hoppy golden bitter.

AndrewGood10 Nov 2008 Pale gold colour. Soft in the mouth. Slightly grassy flavour with hints of lemon. Quite a mellow beer.

The County Hotel, Ashford, Kent

IanGood11 Nov 2008 Surprise of the festival for me. This is good. Hops are citrusy, sherberty, tasty. Part of it is the shock in that Sheps have produced a hoppy beer of their own volition.

The New Crown, Southgate, Greater London

IanGood30 Oct 2008 This really is surprisingly good. Some Sheps yeast on the aroma, but the body of the beer and the hops in particular make this a really good session beer.
