Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanGood09 Nov 2006 Chestnut with disappearing head. Harvey's yeast and fruity malt aroma. Syrupy malt in mouth, some nice fruit. It's a good English strong beer, but lacks the heights.

AlenomoreExceptional03 Nov 2012 Superb. One of Harvey's best seasonals. Two pints of this heaven-in-a-glass devoured. (I'd strongly reccommend to Mr Pirrip to get to the Royal Oak a.s.a.p?)...
AlenomoreExceptional25 Nov 2011 Most of the group went through the range but I chose the extremely drinkable November seasonal. Stayed on this and in tip top condition tonite.
AlenomoreExcellent19 Nov 2011 The November seasonal. On top form too.

Philip PirripExcellent06 Nov 2012 At the recommendation of Kentish Ale in a previous post for the Pilot at Maidstone I hunted down this Harvey's seasonal to here. Full bodied but did not set me on fire

IanExcellent28 Oct 2005 Undergoing a run of good beers at the moment, Harvey’s continues with this strong ale. Russet/deep ruby in colour with thin off white head. Distinctive Harvey’s yeast on nose, but also incredible malt aromas too of toffee and choc. Mouthfeel is good and full with yeast, drying hop and toffee sweetness on the end. Brilliant
