Spoke to bar girl who after I queried whether this was ESB immediately said no, its the right beer. Such a quick reply was very reassuring... Beer was perfectly acceptable, good condition just not the beer we expected. After such a great spread we were not going to make a fuss. Will monitor carefully after we come back from Tenerife in a couple of weeks. I am sure some other punters would have enjoyed this beer.

Ian		09 Apr 2008	Deep copper with lasting beige head. Peppery hop aroma. Soft fruity malt. Fullish and a little unsubtle in mouth, bit pukey to be honest, but the peppery hop aroma/finish is outstanding. Apart from a red beery syrupy pukey bit in the middle, it’s good.
