Martin the MildmanAcceptable30 Mar 2010 Interesting amber coloured beer with a smokey aroma and initial smoked malt burst of flavour. After this the beer falls apart with peaty dryness and cloying smokiness clashing for dominance. My score 12/20.

Opera House, Tunbridge Wells, Kent

IanPoor17 Mar 2010 Nothing off here, but the aroma is very earthy and the flavour reminded me of licking the head of a safety match. Not great and to be honest I struggled to finish even a half of the pint I had ordered. Disappointing.

The Muggleton Inn, Maidstone, Kent
