These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

ChrisEExceptional19 May 2012 The best GBF that I can remember. My pints were served by gravity from the stillage, although it was also avaliable on handpump from the bar.

James TPoor29 Mar 2010 This wasn't on particularly good form, certainly didnt taste like it after the Hepworth Dark horse. Ever so slightly cloudy. Perhaps tired or not left long enough to pour.. The goldings hops still pulled through strongly in this beer.

IanAcceptable17 Jan 2006 It has been ages since I had this. Golden, thin white head. Slightly nettley farm yardy aroma which to be honest always puts me off. OK in mouth with some grapes, bit wet, not enough body for me. Then dry, dusty hop finish with tingling citrus acids. OK, but not a big fan
