McGargleExcellent03 May 2010 Well crafted: good smokey, roasted flavours with chocolate and coffee. Excellent mouthfeel and body for its ABV.

IanGood22 Apr 2010 Very decent choc flavours, a bit overly harsh on the roasted malts maybe, bit of tar and liquorice, good tasty stout though.

AlenomoreExcellent19 Apr 2010 Good taste and still in good condition.
AlenomoreExcellent16 Apr 2010 Second new ale tonite, was "available soon" but came on after mid-night, so, had to have it! A bit weak to be proper stout, but very tasty, good head and lingering dark malts.

The Crosse Keys, City, Central London

Martin the MildmanExcellent15 Apr 2010 Good roasty, oaty malt taste, rather thin mouthfeel, could do with a bit more ABV to give a fuller body. My score 16/20.
