WhoScoreWhenNotes
McGarglePoor17 Mar 2013 Where were the hops? Should have been rammed with Nelson Sauvin but they seemed curiously absent.Boring, brown, over-chilled, over-carbonated.
RayAcceptable29 Oct 2011 Not as subtle as early brews - might struggle now to identify Nelson Sauvin as the lead hop. Quite harsh mouth feel.
McGargleExcellent23 Aug 2011 Much bitterer than recent examples offset by those Nelson Sauvin hops and full bodied malt. Lovely drying finish.
RayAcceptable07 Jul 2011 Delighted to see this back. Poured attractive burnt orange with cream head. Initial blast of tropical fruit quickly subsided to more harsh flavours. Gone were the seductive charms of Nelson Sauvin against well judged malt. Less balanced/less enjoyable than previous versions. Major disappointment.
McGargleExceptional18 Nov 2010 Reddish amber in the glass. Sweet grapefruit aromas then the hops kick in for the flavour. Orange, fresh grapefruit and some pine finely balanced by the smooth malt. Dangerously drinkable.
