Evening. First visit for a long time. Good to see Dosser on CAMRA mag Ale of Thanet distribution duty. He gave me some to take to my next stop. A local gave me accurate bus information too to get to Westbrook.

Delivering Ales of the unexpected, and who would be in there delivering hundreds of beer magazines from infinity and beyond but Phil Pirrip. Usual beery chat and he was off like a brides nightie to get a few more pubs in before the last train to oblivion..

Evening. Guv Alan in dock having lost the top of one finger but he was here "seeing how things were going".
BeerABVScoreNotes
Isla Vale Alesmiths - Bosuns Best4.20ExcellentA small scale outfit brewing in Margate. Beer named after the Guv's dog - the beer description on the blackboard had been altered to say Best Biter! This was very good indeed with fruity oily hop bitterness

Bizarrely a trombone player outside the pub with the door open on a hot day and passing shoppers dancing on the pavement. Nice nautical themed pub
