Got in just before last orders. Landlord was a little stroppy, put a dampener on my visit.

A smattering of locals, I think this place really starts to pick up quite late in the evening. Landlord gave us our first ever try of sake, jolly nice of him.

I had heard rumblings that the DJ Adamski that had hits in the early 90's was playing a set in here so myself and a friend decided to investigate. The rumour turned out to be true and we had one of the more bizarre but enjoyable nights out in Thanet in recent memory.

This pub reopened under new ownership a couple of months back but this is the first chance I've had to check it out. Used to drink here a lot years ago, it's a completely different pub now even the bar has changed sides. Nice and busy with a city kind of vibe to it, I really like what they've done with the place.

First stop on a miniature crawl round ramsgate. Quite lively, shame they're not being that adventurous on the ale front though.

Fairly quiet, but hasn't been long since it re-opened so it will take a while for trade to grow. A friend of mine is the new licensee and she's committed to having a good range of ales. So far so good.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 9JJ.
Tiny pub tucked up a little side street, Addington Street. Limited opening hours so do check before travelling far. For a while being used for Airnbnb letting, not within planning rules. Now open again and selling cask ales again.
We have visited this pub 16 times, seen 18 different beers and tried 11 of them.
