Mid evening and very busy standing room only. Back bar even busier with a blues/jazz band in full swing. Landlord says the Eldon Arms has been closed around four weeks. No other info on its future. Shame.

Regrettably I was the only customer in early on a Saturday afternoon.
Cottage - Silly Mid Whippet4.20AcceptableUnremarkable beer as ever from Cottage, this was mainly malty with a faint hoppiness. Served in good condition however. My score 14/20.
