Early afternoon visit, my friends sat outside across the road and admired the view over Richmond Hill whilst I stayed inside and enjoyed being in a pub. Camra discount applied here.

I had not intended coming here, but when I was in the previous pub I asked for directions to the Mitre and was told to go up the hill and turn left at the lights. There were no lights so ended up going too far and ending up here, well it would be rude not to pop in for a pint. It was surprisingly busy for the time of day and service was excellent. Camra discount given here.

Busy but peaceful pleasant Richmond atmosphere away from the center of town crowds
BeerABVScoreNotes
Skinner's - Cornish Knocker Ale4.50ExcellentThis was truely excellent. Full fruity rich body. Mmmm, so nice. Possibly the best form i've even had it on. Gorgeous floral nose to it. Perfect temperature. Would happily have drank all evening.
BrewDog - 77 Lager4.90Good1st pint out the barrel. The 2nd pint which a friend had looked better. Ever so slight cloudy hue to mine which was a shame since my eyes had popped out my head when they replaced the Cornish Knocker with this... Good scoop though!
