Late afternoon and busy with folk watching rugby on the drop down screen. Despite this we enjoyed the cosy comfortable atmosphere and could have stayed much longer had we'd not had a cancelled train to catch!

Well Philip Pirrip told us all to come here so I did. From the outside you may well think twice. It's in an industrial park area about 10 mins walk from the centre of town. Good little pub this. There was a huge screen at one end of the pub (which isn't very big itself) that was showing the Cheltenham races. A number of locals had big bets on and got quite excited when their horses came in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Stanway - Stanney Bitter4.50ExcellentBest beer I had in Birmingham. Light brown. Watery and leafy - just my thing. Excellent condition with a long leafy bitter finish.
