The pub was much the same but with a lick of paint added, and the garden now a house. The patio at the rear has been renovated and was very pleasant.

Traditionally everyone we're on holiday with comes to the Nags for a lunchtime drink but this year the weather was terrible so no one did. Jane and I popped up in the evening for a drink not knowing exactly what to expect as we knew the owners were new. What we found was as good as ever. The interior was more or less the same (minus the pool table). The outside was quite a bit better with the patio seating (with its superb views across Lyme Regis and out to sea) now having hanging flower baskets. Inside, there were playing a varied selection of ACDC (but not intrusively). All in all the pub still appears excellent. Oh and some fraught chap came in having locked himself out of his holiday accommodation. It was all happening at the Nags.

Traditionally we all come here on the first Sunday of the holiday. Suits me. Not feeling 100% but it's nothing a pint won't cure.
