Late evening bus change visit. I observed the cask ales were cooler than usual and the barmaid said a Cask Marque accreditation had forced them to review and cool more. Doom Bar being pushed out at £1.99 and Ruddles at £1.59 as manager's specials.

Late evening highly foreshortened bus change visit. No real ales for sale due to "dispense system problems", probably to do with having a first floor cellar. Naturally I turned tail immediately.

Late evening bus change visit. Accidental shattering of glasses on the bar counter lead to much picking of shards from nooks and crannies. Prominent notices everywhere apologising for the absence of Abbot Ale!
