There seemed to be only one member of staff looking after reception, restaurant bookings and the bar. As you'd expect service was a bit haphazard and my glass was only reluctantly topped up. £3.05 a pint seems opportunistic - especially for an ale which benefits from progressive beer duty and virtually zero distribution costs.

Plockton - Plockton Bay4.60AcceptableBetter here than 'up the road' this is a standard, slightly malty, light brown bitter. Pulled with a long lasting creamy head there was some body but nothing to really tickle the taste buds.
