I had time for a quick pint before my train home. This was day one of their Cider and Ale Festival, it was not too busy, and I got served straight away, and chatted with some characters that I recognise from various beer festivals.

A group of us met up here for evening drinks. I stayed a bit longer than originally planned as rail services on High Speed 1 were suspended for a while because of a lineside fire. The pub was very busy with a good mix of clientele, and plenty of people eating. I had to ask for my beer to be topped up to a full pint on every occasion.
