Cavernous Smith's pub - food served from bar menu 12.00-14.00. Quiet - no music or TV. Dogs allowed. Smith's beers on draught and bottled. Excellent prices, as you'd expect from Smith's. Rooms available and beer in decent condition.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Samuel Smith's - Extra Stout4.50ExcellentA wonderful stout. Black, with a creamy, tan head. Loads of smoke and roasted malt in the finish, with a hint of bitter chocolate. Very dry but moreish.
Samuel Smith's - Old Brewery Bitter4.00GoodServed a little too cold. Deep amber in colour, with a no-nonsense, toffee-led finish. Creamy head.
