Visits Details

18 Jul 2010 (Martin the Mildman)
A quick visit to see what was left. Pleasing to see that thirsty people had drank about 1/3 of the casks dry.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Arundel - Sussex Mild3.70ExcellentSweet and smooth with toffee and caramel malt flavours and very little hoppiness. A dryish finish. My score 16/20.
1648 - 3 Threads4.30GoodRuby coloured old mild style beer with a good mix of biscuity malt and fruity hop. My score 15/20.
Ascot - On The Rails3.80AcceptableInteresting to see this in the mild section, it is definitely not a mild. Although dark brown in colout it has assertive hop bitterness and just a little burnt malt taste. Mouthfeel is thin. my score 14/20.
