Fisrt came here in 2007 on another tour of Derbyshire, and this visit was equally as good. The Thornbridge selection was impressive and the Springhead Ale here was on offer (and selling well) at 99p a pint!

The pub is found in Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3BS.

GBG entry 2011 (first time)reads: Dating from the 1960s, this former Home Brewery house is at the hub of a vibrant market town. The large, open-plan interior is frequently well patronised, especially on weekend evenings. Outside there is a pleasant patio area that overlooks the parish church. A comprehensive selection of six guest beers should satisfy the most ardent beer enthusiast, with Black Hole and Thornbridge prominent among the local micro-breweries featured.

We have visited this pub once, seen 6 different beers and tried 1 of them.
