Evening. Quick half on way to station. Looks like the place has settled on selling national real ales only.

Just a few lager drinkers in here until a few berr festival attendees dropped by.

Walked past and spotted a Wantsum and Gadds pump clip. Walking up to the door I saw a chalk board advertising Samphire! I've been wanting to try this ever since ChrisE started putting up reviews of it on this site. The pub had a handful of locals in and a collection of people waiting for the Dover Beer festival to open.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Abigale - Samphire4.10GoodPale brown beer. Gooseberry tartness to it and hint of astringency. When I told ChrisE (who I later saw at the Dover beer festival) this he thought that perhaps I'd had an usual pint of it. I will make sure I try it again.
Wantsum - Turbulent Priest4.40Not Tried

The pub is found in Dover, Kent, CT16 1BB.

Wedge shaped corner pub at the end of the High Street in Biggin Street. Had a spell selling local Kentish ales but now selling national brews only. Interesting double curved doors on the corner entrance. Refurbished and re-opened in January 2019 with pastel shades decor and a sports bar feel with large TV screens, darts and pool. 2 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 3 of them.
