Mid afternoon we had time for a swifty though wish I hadn't.
Mad Cat - Emotional Blackmail4.50PoorFlat, peppery with a vile bitter dark chocolate kick that made me shudder. No condition at all just about forced it down as I was thirsty.

Mid afternoon and quiet, my first visit since it was The Sun. We stood at the bar for a couple of minutes while the barman fiddled with the till then decided to find somewhere else.

I was put off by an A board advertising real ales from £1.99 per pint but changed my mind when I noticed the other side advertising a Meet the Brewer evening with Mad Cat and it was tonight. I was about an hour too early for the start of the proceedings but enjoyed my pint in relative peace and quiet.
