1930. A pub that has been on my radar for some time for my first ever visit. A good old untouched Shep's pub. The landlady was friendly, the Masterbrew was in good nick and Run VT were just setting up. Nice place.

In Square Hill Road, a pub situated at the bottom of a short steep hill on the edge of the town. It has a pleasant patio garden. Sold in 2015, closed and plans for housing to be erected here.
