Evening. Instantly welcoming and knowledgeable Guv here. Probably the original real ale house in Gillingham with good cider selection too.

1330. Having visited the nearby Dockyard for an event, I walked up here for a first visit and caught it open for once. A good old fashioned back street local. Quite untouched inside. Guvnor' is a big Gill's fan and friendly enough. Three decent ales on too.

Skinner's - Betty Stogs Bitter4.00ExcellentOn good form.
Elgood's - Double Swan4.50ExcellentNice, with that unique Elgoods pale, hoppy taste.

First visit to the Medway CAMRA pub of the year. Impressive pub with a knowledgable landlord who made us very welcome. Will return to this colourful boozer.

My first ever visit to this pub so I did not know what to expect. I was pleased to see that there was a proper Kent Doubles darts board in use, (who needs trebles?) I enjoyed a couple of pints and a bockwurst hot dog with onions.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - American Style IPA4.80ExcellentIt is nice to see Adnams producing some interesting beers. Citrus hop character, but not as hoppy as some American style IPAs that I have tried. A very enjoyable pint though.
Adnams - Mild3.20ExcellentA good traditional mild that has re-appeared after a gap of about ten years. Welcome back.
Banks & Taylor's (B&T) - Mad Hatter4.20Not TriedThis ran out before I could try it.
