Was behind the bar from 11.30-6 and then spent the next few drunken hours on the green enjoying the sunshine. Fantastic beer festival this year if a little messy, had a few bruises from rolling down the stairs but otherwise it was a smashing success.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Westerham - Grasshopper Kentish Bitter3.80ExcellentI love this beer, ridiculously drinkable.
York (now brewed by and at Black Sheep) - Centurion's Ghost Ale5.40ExcellentTop notch ale.
Frome (formerly Milk Street) - Zig Zag Stout4.50ExcellentVery nice stout.
Dark Star - Imperial Stout10.50ExcellentWhat possessed me to get a full pint of this I'll never know, don't remember finishing it. Do remember starting it though and it was lovely.
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Silver Top4.50ExcellentLooks a little like the copper top. Equally delicious.
Brew Wharf - Top To Bottom 69 Hop Ale5.40ExcellentReally nice hoppy pale ale, although for the world record holder in hoppiest beer, it wasn't all that hoppy really.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Double IPA9.00ExcellentFantastic.
Abigale - Samphire4.10GoodBiscuity bitter, very nice beer but I'll admit I had high expectations and they were not quite met.
WharfeBank - Wispa IPA5.10GoodChocolatey beer. I remember it being fairly tasty.
Kent - Black Gold4.00AcceptableNot bad, a little bland though.

The CAMRA fast-queue got us in swiftly and I got my first beer in at 11:55. Winner. Sat with Ian, Chris and Bob in the quite area where Ian was pleased to hear the piped music. Mr Lowry came over to tell us about sulphur yeast and Blair served us quality beer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Bock6.00ExceptionalI don't like bocks as a general rule. Black, excellent condition, risen, overcooked omelet, sourness, got that vacant lager body but even so superb.
Frome (formerly Milk Street) - Zig Zag Stout4.50ExcellentFruity, smoky, zingy roasted stout.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Double IPA9.00ExcellentI don't like double IPAs as a rule. What an excellent double IPA. No HCl on the finish.
Quantock - Wills Neck4.30GoodLight fresh passion fruit. Thanks to Chris for this.
Toad - The Davinci Toad5.50GoodMahogany. Hint of fruit, bit of cardboard
Kent - Pale4.00GoodGolden yellow. Darkstar-ish. Cross between Darkstar Hophead and American Pale
Purple Moose - Dark Side of the Moose4.60AcceptableAhhh, lacking in condition. Mahogany toasted some biscuit malt , bit of alcohol.
Green Jack - Trawlerboys Best Bitter4.60AcceptableBrown. Slightly metallic, Some fruit, hint of biscuit.
Kent - Black Gold4.00AcceptableKent Pale with caramel? Not in great condition.
Farriers Arms - 16063.70PoorBeen looking forward to this. Eggy aroma, eggy flavour.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Low & Behold2.80PoorDark coloured. American hops and burnt sugar dominated.
