Pretty quiet here, had a great conversation with Jane about The Wire though.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Early Bird4.30PoorComedically poor in its condition. I'd be embarrassed to serve a beer is this bad a state.

Last stop in our Canterbury tour. Fairly empty so we got a seat at the front of the pub and talked about The Wire and ACDC.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Early Bird4.30PoorNo condition at all leaving this usually good beer tasting like soapy dish water. It wasn't off; just poor.

Trafalgar day. That's worth a pint. Quite in the pub; a few dinners about but that was about it.

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2AW.

Corner pub/hotel near the River Stour. Once the home of Canterbury Brewery, an early Kentish micro-brewery, in the 1980s. Just a tad corporate decor wise. Nice location on the Stour with very attractive buildings around it. Long central bar serves up to 3 hand pulled Shepherd Neame beers. Conservatory and restaurant area around a corner.

We have visited this pub 25 times, seen 9 different beers and tried 8 of them.
