Swift pint early evening en-route to South Bermondsey. The pub was heaving inside and out, mainly with suits. Not a tie in sight however - wow things have changed so much in the City, not.

It’s around 15 years since my brief time as a regular in here when Andy Bishop was Guv’nor. My first visit since the area has been swept up by City expansion.

Evening. Local CAMRA AGM in upstairs function room. Range of national brews only which is uninspiring. Superb buffet but unhealthy as buffets always must be.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Belhaven - Caledonian Deuchars IPA3.80AcceptableAt £4 pp I made one last all meeting through. £3.40 would be competitive

Third pub on crawl. Busy with early evening office workers. Uninspiring range of beers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Belhaven - Caledonian Deuchars IPA3.80AcceptableUsed to be a favourite of mine, now nothing like I remember but I don't think the pub can take any blame. On the positive side the first beer of the day served at correct temperature!
