Arrived just after 1pm, hung around for a presentation by a shepherd neame senior brewer at 6pm. Good fest, and as a keen home brewer, a good chance to try beers brewed with specific hop varieties. Hope it will be repeated.

Arrived at about 6pm and it was quite busy. Coming from Wye originally it was nice to see so many people supporting the best beer event to happen here for, what, ever? Had a thoroughly good time.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Castle Rock - Preservation Fine Ale4.40GoodNorthern Brewer and Sovereign hops. Dark, malty with a good leafy hop as I recall. My notes say it was like drinking liquefied brick.
Tryst - Raj IPA5.50GoodA strong peppery hop. Nice but to be honest by this point I'd had a few and it was all blurring into one.
Abigale - Samphire4.10GoodThe beer I want to love. Made with Challenger, Northdown and East Kent Goldings.
Abigale - Ridgeway3.80GoodMade with Bramling Cross and Willamette hops. Pale gold colour, but again that tell-tale Abigale astringency would give it's provenance away.
Abigale - Best4.50GoodMade with Admiral and Whitbread Goldings Variety. A brown bitter with that tell-tale Abigale astringency to it.
Canterbury Brewers - Boadicea's Uprising4.10GoodMade with Target, Pioneer and Boadicea hops. Earthy and a bit stony to start with but by the end I was quite enjoying it.
