Thanks to Bear and Ragged Staff for leading me to this brilliant, rural local. Enthusiastic staff, friendly locals, huge portions of excellent food with beer to match. Dog friendly too.

Stonehouse - Station Bitter3.90ExcellentTop class bitter, bursting with flavour and that drying, moreish feeling athe end of the glass. Could this have been 5*?

Lovely old world interior and greeted by pleasant staff. Still warm enough to sit in the garden.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Stonehouse - Station Bitter3.90ExcellentSuch a good session beer. Smooth, warm flavours in abundance and a hoppy bitterness to finish off. All well balanced and with good body.
Salopian - Shropshire Gold3.80AcceptableA little fruity and malty along with a slightly hoppy finish. A tad on the thin side for me.
