Lunchtime on a sunny Remembrance Sunday. A good sprinkling of bemedalled veterans and groups lunching and drinking. A proper pub.

Ancient L-shaped mellow red brick building in quiet country lane. Tables in a sun trap in front. Central bar with TV screen and other areas opening off. Low beams, exposed timber work, inglenook fire place and a lovely brick floor.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
