We spent a very enjoyable lunchtime in the shady garden, in glorious weather, sampling the excellent beer, along with a slap-up Schnitzel lunch. Many other beers were available. The sort of place you could comfortably spend all day, and some people looked as if they planned to.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Sternbräu - Mai Bock6.00ExcellentI cannot find a strength for this seasonal beer, and 6% is an estimate. Amber-coloured, smooth, easy-drinking, malty and strong.

The pub is found in Rankweil, Austria, 6830.

The brewery tap for the adjacent Sternbrauerei. Just off the town centre of Rankweil and overlooked by the Rankweil Basilica. There is a comfortable dining room and a classic beer garden and beerhall combination at the rear, which merges a little scruffily into the bottle hall and then the brewery itself. The pub also sells a range of guest beers from across Europe, including some British and Irish beers, as well as its own brewery's products.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
