The pub is found in Charlbury, Oxfordshire, OX7 3PL.

Located in Market Street this is a smallish street corner pub opposite The Bull Inn. The main bar is on 2 levels and has 8 handpumps in daily use. There is a larger lounge with patio. As at 2012 has been in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 25 years and this entry has continued (at least) until 2019. At July 2012 the Ramsbury Bitter is the staple diet here with the other 7 pumps guesting all sorts of local and other ales. It hosts fortnightly musical nights. The pub is located on the Oxfordshire Way for walkers and all are encouraged to bring their own food. A number of local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year certificates are on display behind the bar. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2018 and its Oxfordshire Pub of the Year too.

We have visited this pub 8 times, seen 36 different beers and tried 13 of them.
