A warm and sunny day so most of the customers were outside. I sat inside and looked at the fixtures and fittings.

We chose this pub partly because of the Good Beer Guide promise of “Legendary Sunday Roasts”. They were not doing food! But the beer was excellent and we dined in pleasant surroundings on crisps and cheesy biscuits.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Windsor & Eton - Eton Boatman4.30ExcellentFirst rate golden ale with the Citra hops really shining through.
Bays - Winning Gold4.50ExcellentHad a job to stand up to the Windsor & Eton beer, but impressed as an amber and hoppy ale.
