Lunchtime and the quietest I've seen this place, just the four of us inside and a similar amount outside made for a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.

Mid evening busy as expected, we sat in the gallery seats but found it too stuffy so moved back downstairs when a table became vacant.

I’m here shortly before 5pm, ahead of the after-work rush and it is nice to be able to find a seat inside and be able to drink out of a proper glass. I overhear somebody explaining erroneously to another customer how the pub is 300 years old and one of the most historic in London.

Unfeasibly busy here after work, and, like loads of other people, we’re out on the pavement. I did not really get near enough to the bar to record the full range of beers available.
BeerABVScoreNotes
St Peter's - Old Style Porter5.10ExcellentA really very good Porter.
St Peter's - Boo!5.20GoodI thought from the clip that this might be a pumpkin beer – in fact it was not obviously so. Dark and hearty.

After work with Dave R. Although the pub was packed, we struck lucky and after a little while acquired the table upstairs in the ‘Crow’s Nest’.

Evening until 11pm close. New striking St Peter's pump clips in use. Latebirds from nearby SPBW AGM meeting were here before me.

I do so like this pub. Trouble is I find it intolerably busy at the time of day (early evening) that I am best able to visit.

The pub is found in Clerkenwell, Central London, EC1M 5UQ.

Tucked away on Britton Street off Clerkenwell, this is a fantastic pub. Opened in 1996 as a re-creation of an 18th century tavern so it is nowhere as old as it looks. If you like odd real ale and the feel of a small, all wooden pub with little drinking areas, then this is the place for you. Served St. Peter's beers on draught, by air pressure, from 6 taps (on fake cask ends) behind the bar, or by the bottle or continental lager from the taps on the bar when under St Peter's Brewery ownership until early 2022. Great place to have something different. Reopened early March 2022 after a short period of closure and with a change of name.

We have visited this pub 28 times, seen 26 different beers and tried 21 of them.
