After looking in awe at the plush abbey buildings we called in here for a pre-booked lunch and a chance to drink the Bonne-Esperance beer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brasserie Lefebvre - Abbaye de Bonne-Esperance7.80GoodA very pale, slightly sweet abbey beer.
Brasserie Lefebvre - Belgian Kriek3.50AcceptableAn outrageously sweet, glowing red, cherry beer, with pink foam. Normally I would hate such an abomination, but I’m deeming it ‘acceptable’ because it worked well as a sweet after a heavy meal.
