Quite busy, late-afternoon on Sunday, with several watching the televised football. My arrival coincided with the arrival of piping hot roast potatoes and parsnips on the bar.

A large pub in the centre of the linear village of Little Wakering, opposite the church. The pub has a circa 1930s, mock-Tudor exterior and there is an extensive car park to the side. The interior is divided into games room area, drinkers area and an area of laid tables for dining.
