19:00 visit. A short walk from Wallasey Village Stn. soon found this good old fashioned local pub. Another unspoilt type, good atmosphere and well worth finding.

Wallasey's oldest licensed premises. A friendly local with a snug, lounge and seperate bar. A walled garden, where regular beer festivals are held and good value home-cooked food complements the regular pub quiz nights, golf society, football, bowls and darts teams. A current 2013 GBG entry and 15 times previously in 1978-80/2/93/6/7/2006-12.
