Jam-packed in here for the England v Slovakia game on TV. The right hand bar has been converted into a TV lounge, with diners pushed into the left side. Rowdy atmosphere, with lots of Irish and Welsh football fans present.

It is a few years since I was last here and the pub has grown to about twice the size. This is a late night/early morning visit, but the place remains busy. In addition to five keg beers being available, we are surprised to see that there are also four specialist beers in 75cl bottles – new additions to the 3 Brasseurs range.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Les 3 Brasseurs (Lille) - la Blonde5.50GoodEasy-drinking pale beer served on keg dispense. Above average quality for the style.
Les 3 Brasseurs (Lille) - la Triple7.90GoodOne of the new range of bottled beers. This is a good triple in the Belgian style.

The pub is found in Lille, France, 59000.

One of a chain of brewpubs across France – this is one of the longest-established and enjoys a prominent position right in front of Lille Flanders railway station. It is a large bar, with barstools for drinkers and many tables for diners. There are pavement tables, and the pub has now expanded into a neighbouring property. I don’t think that all of the pubs in this chain actually brew, with some beers supplied Firkin-style from others in the chain – but the brew kit in this pub is clearly visible and obviously active.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 5 of them.
